Miranda was awarded the Best Design Award in its category at the prestigious Design Turkey 2010 competition. Design Turkey 2010 is sponsored by ICSID (International Council of Societies of Industrial Design).
We were selected by a multi-national jury among a large number of products from large equipment companies which allocate huge budgets to developing unique and useful designs. The award we have won is probably the first in the Wastewater Treatment Sector in the region.
It consumes 1/5 of the energy and occupies 1/3 of the space in comparison to its typical competitors. It operates with solar energy, as it consumes less energy than three light bulbs.
The award received confirms once again that Miranda’s uniquely developed, innovative product, the Miracell® wastewater treatment system, is the best in its category.
Due to the product’s materials of fabrication, it is the first in the water treatment sector in terms of aesthetic appeal. It is also the first due to its environmentally friendly appearance. The system can easily be washed and not be affected in colour, pattern and material integrity after long durations of use. Due to its aesthetically appealing closed-box look, it can be easily used and displayed in every project. It does not introduce any visual pollution, as opposed to its peers in the industry.
Adaptation to its surroundings, as reflected in colour and design patterns, should be taken into consideration. Rather than a wastewater treatment plant by design, the product’s adaptation to blend in with its surroundings through attractive and aesthetic features is a significant factor compared to other products on the market. It consumes 1/5 of the energy and occupies 1/3 of the space in comparison to its typical competitors. It operates with solar energy, as it consumes less energy than three light bulbs.
